Opis: German expressionist painter and graphic artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938), co-founder of the Brücke movement, produced some of the most outstanding woodcuts and powerful expressionist works of the 20th century. Tragically, he committed suicide after having his work condemned as degenerate by the Nazis. |
